On February 24th, 2021, in Rome, the Covid-19 vaccination center was inaugurated at Roma Convention Center La Nuvola. The President of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, the Lazio Region Health Councilor Alessio D’Amato, the Director of the ASL Roma 2 Flori Degrassi, the President of Eur S.p.A. Alberto Sasso, and the CEO of Eur S.p.A. Antonio Rosati participated in the event.
Over 3,700 square meters available for the ASL Roma 2 to administer the vaccine against Covid-19 which will initially involve school and university staff, teachers and non-teachers from Lazio, under 55.
More than 140 health workers, including doctors, nurses, health assistants and administrative staff, will manage 50 vaccine lines operating 7 days a week from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm until August 31st, 2021.
A frequency of approximately 300 accesses per hour is expected, with a potential that, when fully operational, will allow the administration of up to 3,500 doses of vaccine per day.
Eur S.p.A., owner of the venue, and Roma Convention Group SpA, the company that manages the congress center, strongly wanted to give their contribution in such a troubled time in the history of our country, making their most functional and largest facility – Roma Convention Center La Nuvola – available to the healthcare system, with the will to contribute to the recovery of the country and, specifically, to the restart of the MICE sector.
